What we do

Rooms of opportunity, across three areas of impact.

Room Too's model, drawn from our Making Room research, addresses overcrowding across three fronts: education, wellbeing and aspiration. Every site is a study hub, a third space, and a window into what's possible.

Educational

Study Hubs

Dedicated study spaces in underutilised offices and meeting rooms, equipped with laptops, noise-cancelling headphones, internet and stationery. Longer hours than local libraries, so schedules actually fit.

Wellbeing

Third Spaces

Zones to relax, socialise and take a breath, outside the overcrowded home and outside school. A deliberate physical antidote to the isolation and strain young people report.

Aspirational

Inspiring Futures

Sessions hosted inside corporate offices and creative venues, with informal industry exposure, workshops on self-development, and access to mentors.

Two seasons, one standard

We scale to demand, not run at full cost year-round.

Term-time

Our own spaces

When demand is highest, we run our own dedicated study spaces: underused venues we've identified, vetted, and brought up to Room Too standard: calm, safe, and properly set up, staffed by our own Space Supervisors.

Holidays

Coworking partnerships

Rather than keep fully staffed venues running through quieter periods, we partner with coworking spaces who provide an agreed allocation of desks. Every member still gets a simple sign-up, a designated quiet study area, and a named point of contact at the venue.

How to join

One sign-up. Any session.

Joining Room Too is sign-up only. Young people complete a single sign-up form, then can attend any timetabled session at their local site. No per-session booking required.
